Great location in the heart of the city, close to major attractions and public transportation. The apartment is well-equipped and decorated with interesting antique items. The host is friendly and knowledgeable about the area, providing useful tips and recommendations.

The noise levels in the area can be quite disruptive, especially during the night. We experienced loud music from a nearby event lasting till early morning, construction noises starting in the early hours, and the unpleasant sound of sewage maintenance at night.

Great value for money with beautifully decorated 'mid century style' apartment. Friendly and helpful hosts, especially Patricia who even picked us up from the airport. The apartment had everything we needed, including a well-supplied kitchen and a really cool bathroom with old copper taps and pipes. The location was perfect, right next to Sao Vicente Monastery in the old centre of Alfama. The peace and quiet of the little square after a long day of sightseeing was also a plus.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with more options.
